Webinar to Cover 2026 Medicare PFS Changes Impacting Remote Care & RPM

With the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) releasing its much-anticipated 2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) final rule, healthcare providers face a wave of changes that will significantly impact remote care management delivery, billing, and reimbursement. Prevounce Health founder and Medicare compliance attorney Daniel Tashnek, JD, is hosting a complimentary educational webinar to help organizations understand the changes and prepare for what’s coming.

The webinar, "Understanding Medicare's 2026 Changes to Remote Care Management," will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST / 11:00 AM PST. Registration is open to all and strongly encouraged for healthcare leaders and clinicians involved in remote patient care.

Among the most notable updates, CMS has finalized two new CPT codes for remote patient monitoring (RPM):

  • CPT 99445: Covers 2–15 days of RPM measurements

  • CPT 99470: Covers the first 10–20 minutes of RPM management

These new codes expand the clinical flexibility and financial sustainability of RPM programs, allowing providers to tailor monitoring frequency and engagement levels to better match patient needs. The additions represent one of the most significant expansions of RPM and signals CMS’s continued investment in connected care. The webinar will provide an in-depth breakdown of these RPM updates as well as changes to:

  • Advanced primary care management (APCM) services
  • Federally qualified health center (FQHC) and rural health clinic (RHC) billing
  • Preventive services, including annual wellness visits (AWVs)
  • Virtual care and compliance requirements

Program attendees will walk away with a clear understanding of how the 2026 PFS final rule will shape remote care management strategy, reimbursement workflows, and long-term compliance planning.

“CMS is signaling a major shift in how remote patient monitoring is supported and reimbursed,” said Tashnek. “The introduction of the new CPT codes marks the most significant expansion of RPM since its launch in 2019, creating long-awaited flexibility, stronger clinical alignment, and greater financial sustainability for providers.”

If you are unable to attend the live webinar, registration is still encouraged. All registrants will receive a recording after the program.
