Prevounce announces it has joined the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), the membership organization advancing remote monitoring, virtual care, and telehealth policy in the United States. Membership positions Prevounce alongside health systems, technology companies, and clinical organizations working to expand access to remote and virtual care and shape the policy environment that governs it. The move comes as ATA Action prepares a formal response to CMS's proposed 2027 Physician Fee Schedule.
Founded in 1993, the ATA is a nonprofit organization with a membership network of more than 10,000 industry leaders and healthcare professionals. The organization works across three areas: clinical best practices, policy and advocacy, and education. Its advocacy arm, ATA Action, focuses on federal and state policy change affecting telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and related services.
Getting Involved With the RPM Special Interest Group
As part of membership, Prevounce will participate in the ATA's RPM Special Interest Group. The group brings stakeholders to discuss RPM program design, billing and coding practices, and emerging policy issues. Participation gives Prevounce a direct line into how RPM programs are evolving across the industry and a forum to share what Prevounce is seeing in the field.

Coordinating on the 2027 Proposed Rule
ATA Action is reviewing the CY2027 Physician Fee Schedule proposed rule and coordinating with its members ahead of submitting a formal response to CMS. The organization has already publicly raised concerns about several of the rule's remote monitoring provisions. Prevounce is coordinating with the ATA as its response takes shape, contributing perspective on how the proposed changes would affect care management programs on the ground ahead of the September 14 comment deadline.
Why This Matters
Policy decisions made in Washington, D.C., shape what remote monitoring, including RPM, chronic care management (CCM), and advanced primary care management (APCM) programs, can look like in practice. Joining the ATA gives Prevounce a seat at the table where those advocacy efforts get shaped, access to a broader network of organizations working through the same regulatory questions, and a channel to make sure the operational realities of running these programs are represented in the policy conversation.
